Saints celebrated on the 11th of June
SAINTS FELIX AND FORTUNATUS, MARTYRS
Today, we also commemorate Saints Felix and Fortunatus. The Roman Martyrology states:
"At Aquileia, the martyrdom of the saints Feilx and Fortunatus, brothers. In the persecution of Diocletian and Maximian, they were racked, and had flaming torches held against their sides. These being extinguished by the power of God, boiling oil was poured over them, and as they persevered in confessing Christ, they were decapitated."
PRAYER:
Grant, we beseech you, almighty God, that the venerable feast of Saints Felix and Fortunatus may increase our devotion and promote our salvation. Through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit, God, for ever and ever. Amen.
