Saints celebrated on the 3rd of June
SAINTS PERGENTIUS AND LAURENTIUS, MARTYRS
Today, we also commemorate Saints Pergentinus and Laurentinus. The Roman Martyrology states:
"At Arezzo, in Tuscany, during the persecution of Decius, under the governor Tiburtius, the holy martyrs Pergentinus and Laurentinus, brothers, who, while yet children, were put to the sword, after they had endured cruel torments and performed many miracles."
PRAYER:
Grant, we beseech you, almighty God, that the venerable feast of Saints Pergentinus and Laurentinus may increase our devotion and promote our salvation. Through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit, God, for ever and ever. Amen.
