Saints celebrated on the 1st of December
SAINT LUCIUS AND COMPANIONS, MARTYRS
Today, we also commemorate Saint Lucius and Companions. The Roman Martyrology states:
"In the same city [Rome], the martyrdom of the saints Lucius, Rogatus, Cassian, and Candida."
PRAYER:
Grant, we beseech you, almighty God, that the venerable feast of Saints Lucius, Rogatus, Cassian, and Candida may increase our devotion and promote our salvation. Through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit, God, for ever and ever. Amen.
