Saints celebrated on the 4th of December
SAINT MELETIUS, BISHOP OF PONTUS
Today, we also commemorate Saint Meletius. The Roman Martyrology states:
"In Pontus, blessed Meletius, bishop and confessor, who joined to an eminent gift of knowledge the more distinguished glory of fortitude and integrity of life."
PRAYER:
Grant, we beseech you, almighty God, that the venerable feast of Saint Meletius may increase our devotion and promote our salvation. Through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit, God, for ever and ever. Amen.
