ALL SAINTS CELEBRATED IN NOVEMBER
Saints celebrated on the 25th of November
SAINT MOSES, PRIEST AND MARTYR
Today, we also commemorate Saint Moses. The Roman Martyrology states:
"At Rome, Saint Moses, priest and martyr, who, with others detained in prison, was often consoled by the letters of Saint Cyprian. After he had withstood with unbending courage not only the Gentiles, but also the Novatian schismatics and heretics, he was finally, in the persecution of Decius, crowned with a martyrdom which fills the mind with admiration, according to the words of pope Saint Cornelius."
PRAYER:
Grant, we beseech you, almighty God, that the venerable feast of Saint Moses may increase our devotion and promote our salvation. Through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit, God, for ever and ever. Amen.
