Saints celebrated on the 7th of November
SAINT PROSDOCIMUS, BISHOP OF PADUA
Today, we also commemorate Saint Prosdocimus. The Roman Martyrology states:
"At Padua, the demise of Saint Prosdocimus, first bishop of that city, who was ordained bishop by the blessed apostle Peter, and sent thither to preach the word of God, where, celebrated for many virtues and prodigies, he happily ended his life."
PRAYER:
Grant, we beseech you, almighty God, that the venerable feast of Saint Prosdocimus may increase our devotion and promote our salvation. Through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit, God, for ever and ever. Amen.
