ALL SAINTS CELEBRATED IN OCTOBER
Saints celebrated on the 26th of October
SAINT QUODVULTDEUS, BISHOP OF CARTHAGE
Today, we also commemorate Saint Quodvultdeus. The Roman Martyrology states:
"The same day, Saint Quodvultdeus, bishop of Carthage. By the Arian king Genseric, he and his clergy were put on board of leaking boats without oars or sails, but beyond all expectations he landed at Naples, and there in exile died a confessor."
PRAYER:
Grant, we beseech you, almighty God, that the venerable feast of Saint Quodvultdeus may increase our devotion and promote our salvation. Through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit, God, for ever and ever. Amen.
