Saints celebrated on the 17th of November
SAINTS ALPHAEUS AND ZACCHEUS, MARTYRS
Today, we also commemorate Saints Alphaeus and Zaccheus. The Roman Martyrology states:
"In Palestine, the holy martyrs Alphaeus and Zaccheus, who in the first year of the persecution of Diocletian, after many torments underwent capital punishment."
PRAYER:
Grant, we beseech you, almighty God, that the venerable feast of Saints Alphaeus and Zaccheus may increase our devotion and promote our salvation. Through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit, God, for ever and ever. Amen.
