Saints celebrated on the 1st of June
Conrad, commemorated on June 1 and August 3, was a monk and secretary (Archigrammateus) at the Cistercian monastery Hegna (Hegena, Egena), also called Herisheim, in Hesse. Descended from a famous baronial family, Conrad worked many miracles during his earthly life and afterwards. See also: Conrad, Abbot.

Herisheim: The oldest known mention by name dates from January 31, 773. The place was donated to the Weißenburg Monastery under the name Harieschaim (Home of Hari). Other ancient documents mention the place as Herisheim in 774 and Hergisheim in 779. Herxheim with an X in the town name [the contemporary spelling] was first mentioned in 1824.
