ALL SAINTS CELEBRATED IN NOVEMBER
Saints celebrated on the 1st of November
Saint Gal, the twenty-third Bishop of Clermont-Ferrand (Auvergne), succeeded Saint Cæsarius; he ruled from 640 to 650.
A man of great sanctity, Saint Gal was one of the most eminent bishops in Gaul. Little, however, is known of his life. His feast is kept on November 1.

Grant, we beseech you, almighty God, that the venerable feast of Saint Gal may increase our devotion and promote our salvation. Through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit, God, for ever and ever. Amen.
