  ALL SAINTS CELEBRATED IN SEPTEMBER Saints celebrated on the 10th of September WELCOME! SAINT PAULINUS THE YOUNGER, BISHOP OF NOLA Saint Paulinus, called the Younger, Bishop of Nola in Campania, flourished in the early 6th century. He offered himself to the Vandals as a prisoner to free the son of a poor widow, since he had no ransom left but himself. As a slave, he laboured in his master's garden for a long time, until the latter recognised his wisdom and piety, and him gave freedom. This Saint Paulinus is often confused with the earlier Saint Paulinus , Bishop of Nola. ST PAULINUS OF NOLA, BISHOP - 22 JUNE

  ALL SAINTS CELEBRATED IN JUNE Saints celebrated on the 22nd of June WELCOME! SAINT PAULINUS OF NOLA, BISHOP AND CONFESSOR Pontius Meropius Anicius Paulinus was born at Bordeaux about 354; he died June 22, 431. He sprang from a distinguished family of Aquitania and his education was entrusted to the poet Ausonius. He became governor of the Province of Campania, but he soon realised that he could not find the happiness he sought in public life. From 380 to 390 he lived almost entirely in his native land.  He married a Spanish lady, a Christian named Therasia. He owed his conversion to her, to Bishop Delphinus of Bordeaux and his successor the Presbyter Amandus, and to Saint Martin of Tours, who had cured him of some disease of the eye. He and his brother were baptised at the same time by Delphinus.
