SAINT FEAST DAY FOR EVERY DAY OF THE YEAR

  ALL SAINTS CELEBRATED IN MARCH Saints celebrated on the 20th of March WELCOME! SAINT ALEXANDRA AND COMPANIONS, MARTYRS Saints Alexandra, Claudia, Euphrasia, Matrona, Juliana, Euphemia and Theodosia suffered with Saint Derphuta and her sister under Emperor Maximian at Amysi in Paphlagonia on the Black Sea. They died a most cruel death for the sake of their faith, being stripped of their clothes, struck with rods, and after their breasts were cut off, hang up and mauled until their entrails became visible, after which they were thrown into a red-hot furnace. These holy martyrs are  inserted in the Roman Martyrology * on March 20.   ALL SAINTS CELEBRATED IN MAY Saints celebrated on the 29th of May SAINT THEODOSIA AND COMPANIONS, MARTYRS Today, we also commemorate Saint Theodosia and Companions. The Roman Martyrology states:  "At Caesarea Philippi, the holy martyrs Theodosia, mother of the martyr Saint Procopius, and twelve other noble matrons, who ended their life by decapitation, in the persecution of Diocletian." PRAYER: Grant, we beseech you, almighty God, that the venerable feast of Saint Theodosia may increase our devotion and promote our salvation. Through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit, God, for ever and ever. Amen.

Grant that we may always be under their protection and one day enjoy their company in heaven. Heavenly Father, You are glorified in Your Saints, for their glory is the crowning of Your gifts. You provide an example for us by their lives on earth, You give us their friendship by our communion with them, You grant us strength and protection through their prayer for the Church, and You spur us on to victory over evil and the prize of eternal glory by this great company of witnesses.
