ALL SAINTS CELEBRATED IN NOVEMBER
Saints celebrated on the 13th of November
WELCOME!
SAINT SIARD, ABBOT
Saint Siardus, the fifth abbot of Marien-Garden (Hortus Marianus) in Friesland, which he headed humbly for 36 years with great piety and love, who took part in all the work, even in the fields, and shone with miracles, died in 1230.
A HUMBLE LEADER
His memory and relics were honoured at an early stage like those of a saint. The last transfer of the same happened to Tongerlo on July 6, 1617. Other of his relics rest at St Foignan in the Hennegau. His name is inserted in the Martyrology of the Premonstratensian and those of all regular canons.

Grant, we beseech you, almighty God, that the venerable feast of Saint Siard may increase our devotion and promote our salvation. Through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit, God, for ever and ever. Amen.
