ANIANUS OF EBERBACH
Anianus, a lay brother (conversus) at the monastery of Eberbach in the Odenwald [in Germany], possessed the gift of miracles. Every sick person on whom he laid his hands was healed.
When the influx of people seeking to be cured caused great unrest and disruption in the monastery and the abbot forbade him to do what the people wanted, Anianus, in perfect obedience, promptly and completely submitted to his superior's will. The period in which Anianus lived is not specified in our source. (Buc.)
