BLESSED IDA DE LEUVIS, VIRGIN
Blessed Ida was a nun, distinguished by miraculous powers, prophetic spirit, visions and frequent ecstasies. She lived at the convent of La Ramée (Rameige) in Brabant, which she had entered at the age of 13, and is called "blessed" by Bucelin*.
In the Elenchus* she is listed on November 21 as Ida Leeuwensis O. Cist., i.e. as Ida of Leeuwen (a village in the Netherlands). According to Migne*, she died towards the end of the 13th century. (Buc.)
Blessed Ida is also commemorated on October 29.
