Saints celebrated on the 28th of October
BRIOLAYA OF EBORA, VIRGIN
Briolaya was a Cistercian nun in Portugal who renounced all earthly advantages for Christ's sake, and, by accepting the veil at the convent at Ebora, married her Saviour in everlasting love. She died in the year 1500. Bucelin* lists her among the "blessed". (Buc.)
