Saints celebrated on the 11th of November

CHIARA MALVINDA, VIRGIN

Chiara Malvinda, a noble and very pious virgin in Italy, joined the Third Order of St Francis. She suffered many temptations, which she gloriously overcame by a very strict life of penance.

 According to Born*, she died in 1589 at the age of 33 with a reputation for holiness, after she had patiently endured many serious illnesses. In Hub. Men.*, where she features on November 11, it is stated that she was buried in the Capuchin habit. Two years after her death her body was found intact. 

Chiara Malvinda is also remembered on December 22.
