Saints celebrated on the 26th of October
CONGAN, ABBOT
Congan (Conganus) was an abbot in Ireland who, at the persuasion of the holy Archbishop Malachy of Armagh, entered the Order of the Cistercians. He died in A.D. 1150 in the odour of sanctity. Bucelin* assigns to him the title "blessed". (Buc.)
