LEO DE COLLE, MARTYR
Leo de Colle, from the Franciscan order of Bühel (Collis) in Austria, was beheaded for his Christian faith by the Turks. This happened in 1529 at Kloster-Neuburg in Austria in 1529.
In the Ser. mart.* he is listed on November 10 with the addition that he was murdered along with a number of Companions, while Hueber* states on September 30 that in 1529 several members of the Order were killed by the Turks by beheading, albeit in different places. (Hub. Men.)
