PETER OF XEREZ, MISSIONARY
Peter of Xerez, first a hermit, then a Franciscan, a man of extraordinary piety and enthusiasm for the faith, died on the journey to Mexico, where he and Peter Algharus were meant to work for the spread of the Catholic faith.
