Saints celebrated on the 16th of October
PHILIPPINA OF CHAROLLES, VIRGIN
Philippina, surnamed of Charolles (Chalonia), a virgin of the Poor Clares, was the daughter of Prince Ludwig (Louis) of Orange. She died at the monastery of Orbe around A.D. 1440 with a reputation of great sanctity.
