SAINT ADVENTOR, MARTYR

Saint Adventor's name is derived from the Latin, meaning the coming. St Adventor was a martyr of the Theban Legion and died with St Octavius and St Solutor for the sake of the Christian faith.

In some martyrologies his name is found on January 20, but in the Roman Martyrology he features on November 20. On February 10, Turin's Monastery of St Solutor celebrates the discovery of his relics.
