SAINT ANSELM OF LÉRINS, ABBOT
Saint Anselm was abbot at the monastery of Lérins in France. He is mentioned in the Benedictine martyrologies among those saintly abbots under whom religious discipline in this monastery flourished in a very excellent way. The date of his death is not specified. (El., Buc.)
