SAINT BAOMAD, DEACON AND HERMIT
Saint Baomad (Baomadus; French: Baumex) was a deacon and hermit at le Maine. Originally from Aquitaine, he lived in the 6th century. When the Normans invaded the area, his relics, along with those of St Ulfatius, came to Toul. There he is venerated still. He is now known as St Baumard. (El., Mg.)
