Saints celebrated on the 12th of April

SAINT CERDO, BISHOP OF ALEXANDRIA

Saint Cerdo was the fourth bishop of Alexandria. He attained the episcopal dignity in the first year of Emperor Trajan (A.D. 98-117). He is particularly remembered for his temperance, humility and gentleness. He died in A.D. 110.

St Cerdo is also commemorated on June 5 and June 15.
