Saints celebrated on the 5th of May
SAINT DIGNA OF TODI, VIRGIN
Saint Digna, a virgin of Todi (Tuderism) in Italy, who lived at the time of Diocletian's persecution, hid from the executioners, and died in solitude. At Todi, on May 5, there is celebrated the translation of her relics, which took place in A.D. 1596. She is listed in the Roman Martyrology* on August 11.
