SAINT GENITUS, CONFESSOR
Saint Genitus, St-Genitoux in French, was, according to Migne*, a confessor at Berry, who lived in the 5th century. A church at Blanc, a town in the Diocese of Bourges, bears his name. In the Bollandists' Elenchus* he is referred to as "Father of St Genulphus", while in the Life of St Genulph (Vita S. Genulphi) found in the records of the Bollandists* (Jan. II. 18) his father is called Geminus.
