ALL SAINTS CELEBRATED IN NOVEMBER
Saints celebrated on the 20th of November
SAINT LEO OF NONANTOLA, ABBOT
Even as a cleric, Saint Leo led a strict monastic life, and when he actually did enter the monastery at Nonantola in Modenese, he excelled in all virtues, especially humility.
After being elected abbot against his will, he resigned his office two years later, notified Emperor Otto, and went to Rome, where he prepared himself for eternity. He died on November 20 around the year 1000. A blind man received his sight at Leo's grave. (Buc.)
