SAINT LEODEGAR, BISHOP OF SAINTES
Saint Leodegar (Leodegarius), also Ligarius - St-Ligaire in French - was a bishop of Saintes (Mediolanum santonum) in western France. He is mentioned in the Elenchus*. According to Migne*, he lived in the 7th century. In Zedler's* work, however, there is no mention of a Leodegar among all the bishops of this See.
