Saints celebrated on the 18th of November

SAINT MUMBOLUS, ABBOT

For some time, Saint Mumbolus (Mumbolenus) held the position of abbot at Lagny (Latiniacum), bishopric of Paris. Driven out by the monks, he went to Noyon with a few like-minded people. A few years later, he was ordained by St Eligius who assigned to him the office of preacher for the area there.

St Mumbolus died on November 18; the year is unknown. His body was transferred from the church at Calniac to the monastery of Fons S. Eligii. (Gal. Chr.).
