SAINT SEROTIN, DEACON AND MARTYR
Saint Serotin (Serotinus), deacon and martyr at Sens, suffered in the first century, according to the tradition of this church. Sabinian (Sabinianus) and Potentian (Potentianus) were martyred on the same occasion. Altinus, first bishop of Orleans, Eodaldus (Edoaldus) and Victorinus, one of the first converts of Sens, are considered further Companions. A large part of St Serotin's relics are (according to Guerin*) at the parish of Longpont near Paris.
St Serotin is also commemorated on September 22 and October 19.
