Saints celebrated on the 2nd of November

SAINT SEVOLD, CONFESSOR

Saint Sevold (Sevoldus), a confessor from England, lived in the 8th century His relics were found in the Abbey of St Valery (sur Somme) and at St Vulfran in Abbeville (Abbatis Villa), Bishopric of Amiens. There they are well preserved and venerated. His memory is honoured in the Ponthieu region.

St Sevold is also commemorated on September 16.
