Saints celebrated on the 5th of May
SAINT THEODORE, BISHOP OF BOLOGNA
Saint Theodore (Theodorus) is commemorated on May 5. This holy bishop of Bologna, who received the pastoral staff around A.D. 530, being the successor of Laurentius, is mentioned in the Roman Martyrology*, where it says that he was "renowned by merit." He died in 550 and was buried in the church of St Niccolo di St Felice.
