Saints celebrated on the 7th of November

SAINT WILGIS, ABBOT

Saint Wilgis (Vulgisus) was the father of St Willibrord . After a godly marriage, he lived as a hermit and later led a monastic community. He died in A.D. 720. His body was transferred to Echternach. (Lech.)

Saint Wilgis is also commemorated on March 5 and August 21.
