Saints celebrated on the 2nd of November
SAINT WILLIAM, ABBOT OF BELMONT
Saint William (Guilielmus), abbot of Belmont in the Vosges, died in great holiness about the middle of the 9th century. His veneration continued until the time of the Reformation. St Achericus took over the management of the monastery from him, which later received the name of St Achery. (mg)
