Saints celebrated on the 28th of October
SIMEON, ABBOT OF SAINT VETER
Simeon (Simon) was the first abbot of the Benedictine monastery of St Veter of Caziac, bishopric of Soissons. He died in A.D. 1160 as a Cistercian at Clairvaux, where he lived for seven years as a model of a religious. (Lech.)
Simeon is also remembered on September 4.
