AGILFRID, BISHOP OF LIÈGE

Agilfrid (Agilfred, Agilfridus) was abbot of the monastery of St Bavo in Belgium and at the same time administered the monastery and abbey of Elmo. He died as bishop of Liège in 754. Bucelin* lists him among the "venerable". (Buc. Suppl.)
