Saints celebrated on the 30th of June
ARNESTUS, BISHOP OF PRAGUE
The venerable Arnestus was the first bishop of Prague. He died in 1364 and was buried in Glatz (Glacium) at the Church of the Crusaders (Crucigerorum).
Many miracles happened at his grave and oil is said to have flowed from it. [Arnestus is one of the myroblytes, a saint exuding an aromatic liquid with healing properties, also known as elaephori, or oil-yielding saints.]
The religious disputes that broke out in Bohemia shortly afterwards prevented his canonisation.
