Saints celebrated on the 24th of June
BLESSED JOHN, HERMIT
Blessed John led a hermit's life in vallibus Attini and died on June 24, 1550. After his passing, his coffin was transported by a yoke of young cattle which had not ever been used for work (a vitulis indomitis) and brought to the convent of Augustinian hermits in Cassia, Umbria. According to Jacobillus*, the above was to be read under a picture of the blessed in the said monastery. Jacobillus* does not mention anything about public veneration. Also we could not locate the place where Blessed John is said to have spent his hermit's existence.
