Saints celebrated on the 7th of June
BLESSED PAX, RELIGIOUS
Blessed Pax, of the Order of the Lesser Friars, was born in Rieti, in the region of Naples. He joined the Franciscans in Cascia, Umbria, where he died after a life of severe suffering and trials (in A.D. 1270). He is said to have worked miracles both in life and after death. Although the Bollandists* call him a "Blessed" and mention his public veneration, Hueber* lists his name without a title.
