Saints celebrated on the 28th of July
CLARE, QUEEN OF SICILY
Clare (Sancia) [Chiara], Queen of Sicily at first and afterwards a Poor Clare nun, entered Saint Clare's Order after she had given up her royal dignity. In A.D. 1345, she died at the Holy Cross Convent in Naples. In both the Art. Mart.* and Hueb. Men.* she goes by the name of Sancia.
