Saints celebrated on the 4th of June
COLETA, VIRGIN
Coleta, formerly called Euphemia, was the daughter of Emperor Rudolph I. She entered the Poor Clare convent at Tuln near Vienna, where many noble daughters from the highest families competed in godliness. Coleta passed to her eternal reward in A.D. 1278. (The Bollandists* state the year 1273, which is certainly incorrect, since Coleta entered the Order of Saint Clare under the generalate of Jerome [Hieronymus] of Esculo, who had only been elected in 1274 in Lyon.)
