DICULLUS, HERMIT
Dicullus, a hermit at Bisham Abbey, was a native Scotsman; he built a monastery between Chichester and Therney. Whether he was inspired by the Dicullus mentioned in the life of Saint Fursaeus, or whether he is actually one and the same person, can be no more definitely stated than the time and place of his death. Migne* lists a Saint Dicullus (who may well be our Dicullus), of whom he says that he was a hermit in England who was venerated at Hampton Court.
Dicullus is also remembered on February 11.
