Saints celebrated on the 24th of June
ERIC OF SAINT-GERMAIN, RELIGIOUS
Eric (Ericus, Erricus, [Erich]) was a monk at the monastery of S. Germanus (Saint-Germain) in Auxerre, and well versed in sacred and profane sciences, as Trithemius testifies. He wrote metrically the life of Saint Germanus in 6 and his miracles in 2 volumes, and dedicated both works to Charles the Bald. He also left the life of St Albanus, several homilies, speeches and letters. He passed to his eternal reward in in A.D. 924.
