HELINAND OF FROIDMONT, RELIGIOUS
Helinand (Helinandus, Helniandus), a Cistercian monk and an extremely pious and learned man, is counted by some writers among the "blessed". He lived and died at the monastery of Froidmont or Fremont (Mons frigidus), bishopric of Beauvais in France.
