Saints celebrated on the 17th of July
HERVE OF ANJOU, CONFESSOR
Herve (Herveus) was a confessor who lived in Anjou at the beginning of the 12th century and died there about the year 1130. He is venerated in Chalonne. According to Bruzen*, the village of Saint-Hervé, which is located on the lower part of the island of Chalonne, is named after him. (Mg.)
