Saints celebrated on the 19th of June
JOHANN WILD, PREACHER
Johann Wild (Johannes Ferus), a Franciscan, died at Mainz in 1562. He was a staunch defender of the Catholic faith. He worked as a most zealous preacher at the cathedral, and his picture can still be seen in the sacristy today. (Hub. Men.)
Johann Wild is also remembered on February 6.
