Saints celebrated on the 26th of June
MAGDALENA BANAZ, VIRGIN
Magdalena, surnamed Banaz (Bariaz), was resplendent in a number of virtues. In 1625, she died a most holy death as a true bride of Christ at the monastery of St Mary of the Angels (St Maria der Engeln) in Pfanneregg near Wattwyl in the canton of St Gallen [Switzerland]. (J.M.R.)
