MARK, RELIGIOUS
Mark (Marcus) was a lawyer at first. He joined the Minorites in Bergamo. He died in the odour of sanctity and is called a "blessed" by some writers. He was the one who gave the habit to St John of Capistrano. Hueber* mentions the year 1422 in connection with him; Artur* states the year 1383.
