MAURICE OF BONNEVAL, RELIGIOUS
Maurice (Mauritius) was a Cistercian at the monastery of Bonneval (Bona vallis) who strove for perfection under the direction of Abbot Hugh. For the greater part of his earthly pilgrimage Maurice suffered badly from gout. Henriquez* lists this holy monk as "blessed".
